ALI Board Member Manny DeSantis Serves as Industrial Fasteners Institute's Vice-Chairman

Join ALI in Congratulating Manny DeSantis 
Manny DeSantis, President and CEO of Valley Fastener  Group, LLC was elected to Industrial  Fastener Institute's board as vice-chairman earlier this year. DeSantis, who also serves as a Director on ALI's Board, contributes substantially to the industry through his volunteer work. "We are constantly working on ideas and methods to reduce the number of ladder-related accidents," DeSantis said.

OSHA Reveals Top 10 Violations at NSC Congress and Expo 

Ladder Citations Ranked Sixth - Fall Protection Topped the List 
OSHA published its Top 10 list for most-cited violations in fiscal year 2019, and fall protection led the rankings at #1, followed by hazard communication, scaffolding, lockout/tagout, respiratory protection and then ladders at #6. Fall protection yielded over 6,000 violations, while ladders yielded over 2,300. See the list here
