Racine Road Trip Recap

We had our New Trier Democrats' team go up to Racine, Wisconsin last Sunday to commence our efforts to defeat Trump. We worked with the Racine County Democrats. We covered many precincts and gave literature to voters in local races for the April 7th Wisconsin Primary. We also spoke to many voters and all said they were not for Trump. We told the Racine Democrats that we will be in Wisconsin many times and appreciated the opportunity to work with them in this "Swing State" of Wisconsin. It felt really good to be active against Trump, even in this initial, small way in this important state. Thanks to our Wisconsin team (pictured above with Racine County Democrats) which included myself, Merrilee Redmond and Arnie & Nancy Eisenberg.

COVID-19, Volunteering & Public Events

The CDC has advised that some people are at higher risk of getting very sick from COVID-19. This includes: (1) Adults over 60 and (2) People who have serious chronic medical conditions like heart disease, diabetes and lung disease.

If a COVID-19 outbreak happens in our community, it could last for a long time. Depending on how severe the outbreak is, public health officials may recommend community actions to reduce people’s risk of being exposed to COVID-19. These actions can slow the spread and reduce the impact of disease.  If you are at higher risk for serious illness from COVID-19, it is extra important for you to take actions to reduce your risk of getting sick with the disease.
