Your Giving Matters
The First Presbyterian Church of Libertyville has had an incredible journey full of unexpected curves, surprising discoveries, and unforeseen challenges over the past 150 years.  This year is certainly no different. We are very grateful, especially during this pandemic, for your continued giving online at www.firstpreslibertyville.org Thank you!

Endowment Giving
Did you know you can extend your financial support to future generations through the FPC endowment program? For a confidential discussion about legacy gifts and tax benefits, please contact Bill Chapman 848-456-8647.

Giving by Praying
God’s faithfulness has provided for us in the past, is present with us today, and will lead us into a bright future. In addition to considering donating stock, bonds and mutual funds to the church, please continue to PRAY for the church staff, its members and all of those impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. It’s important.
School Supply & Backpack Drive

The Board of Deacons and our congregation will once again be providing backpacks and school supplies to our Mobile Food Pantry guests, students at Hope Presbyterian Church in Chicago, and students in the Waukegan to College program.

We hope that you consider donating by clicking the link on the church's website. It costs about $25 per child to provide a backpack and school supplies. Please give generously so that these kids can have a great start to the school year.
Save the Date for Music for Many: In the Barn

Join us for a special socially-distanced Music for Many on Sept. 11 & 12 to raise money for Lake County nonprofit organizations. The performances will be a mixture of live and pre-recorded music. Recorded performances will be projected on a big screen in the Townander family's barn, while a "house band" of instrumentalists will perform live and, in some cases, provide accompaniment for the vocalists on screen.

In the spring of 2019, the Townander family purchased a 1880s era timber framed barn and property in Hawthorn Woods. They are working on restoring the barn as a place for fellowship, music and entertainment and plan to eventually move into the adjacent 1930s farmhouse. There is a large amount of space for physical distancing, and a free flow of fresh outdoor air coming in through the open barn doors and windows. Seating will be socially-distanced and masks will be required. Seating will be limited to 50 people. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, Aug. 7. The cost is $40.

For those who cannot attend, or who would rather not be in a crowd of 50 people during this time, a recording of some of the performances will be streamed online on Saturday, September 19.
