Sustainable CAPE
Sustainable CAPE's Children's Community Garden is now on Thursdays! Weekly classes are offered in Truro each Thursday, from 4pm-5pm, for children of all ages (and any interested parent volunteers) who would like to have fun getting outside. Depending upon the age of your child, parent participation may be necessary. You will be planting, growing and harvesting your own food; playing games; and learning together about local food and its connection to the health of our bodies, community and environment. We will tend to the garden and then put it to bed for the season. Afterwards, we will begin making a traveling educational art exhibition - based upon our garden learning - that will be seen by over 15,000 people. We hope you will join us! To sign up call the Truro Library: (508) 487-1125. To learn more, see Sustainable CAPE's Children's Community Garden at   www.SustainableCAPE.org
