Public Service Recognition Week 2018

Celebrated the first week of May since 1985, Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW) is a national week-long celebration to honor those who serve our communities as federal, state, county and local government employees. The Public Policy & Management Center has several activities planned to honor and celebrate our partners in public service.

Watch @WSUPPMC Twitter and Facebook during PSRW, May 6 through 12. And thank a public servant yourself, using the hashtag #PSRW!

WSU Project Wichita Focus Group

As a part of our Public Service Recognition Week events, t he Public Policy and Management Center will host a WSU Project Wichita focus group for campus staff, faculty and students to share their vision for the Wichita region's next 10 years. Right now, Project Wichita focus groups are being hosted across the city, and we want to celebrate our public servants right here on campus by gathering their thoughts and ideas.

Misty Bruckner Named CUPSO President

This month, PPMC director Misty Bruckner accepted the position of President of the Consortium of University Public Service Organizations at the annual conference at  University of Georgia.

The activities and inspiration from CUPSO represent the value of university public service centers and encourage collaboration between centers like ours across the country. We are honored to be part of this organization!
