Attention Parents
Dear SRMS Parents:

Paper copies of the report card, NWEA and Pace results will be mailed home the first week of December.  Please feel free to view Trimester One report cards online until then.

Student Council Presentation

SRMS Student Council President, Sarah Bahrakis and Vice-President Mary Varney present Penny Flanagan with $400, raised by the Student Council through  a series of bake sales held during parent/teacher conferences.

After a fire tore through the Flanagan/McGibbon family home last month, the students of SRMS were eager to show their support for their classmates and solidarity as a community.

The National Junior Honor Society Annual Food Drive
We need your help! The National Junior Honor Society is holding their annual food drive for the Kingston and Newton Food Pantries and Sanborn's End 68 Hours of Hunger Program from November 18th to December 18th.  Each year we collect over a thousand packages of non perishable food and we hope to beat that record this year.  Food can be delivered to your first period class (A Day or grades 6 and 7).  There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize for the classes that collect the most food.

The Giving Tree - The National Junior Art Honor Society

The National Junior Art Honors Society is sponsoring a Giving Tree to collect gifts for people in need. Please choose one of the  tags on the blue bulletin board outside the Main Office with gift suggestions written on them. Just Pick a tag and purchase the suggested gift and return it to Sanborn Middle School by December 18th. The Giving Tree Tags will be available from November 25th to December 18th. Also we are accepting all kinds of donations from clothes to toys for children! These gifts will benefit the homeless and less fortunate. Thank you so much! We want to encourage the spirit of the season in giving to others who may not have much during this time.

68 Hours of Hunger
Weekends are often the longest periods of time for children that don't have enough food at home.  Sanborn School District proudly supports 68 Hours of Hunger.  If you are in need or know someone who could use some assistance please reach out to the SRMS School Nurse Tracy Gilmartin or Angelica Gardella in our Guidance Department.
2019-2020 New Hampshire School Immunization Requirements
Please remember per the New Hampshire School Immunization Requirements (1) dose of Tdap is required for entry into 7th Grade.  These can either be mailed in or sent in with your student.  If you have a scheduled appointment you may let us know the date and send it in after the appointment.  Notifications will go out October 1st to anyone who has not turned in the necessary immunization requirements.

All prescription medication needed for school must be brought in by either a parent or guardian.  Current MD orders must be received for the school year as well.  You may also print off the school medication forms online.  They can be found under Health Services, Medication Administration.

Thank you,
Tracy Gilmartin, RN
