Uhuru Watoto Project
Our Advent retreat was a huge success! One of the activities included a presentation from the founder of the Uhuru Watoto Project. The Uhuru Watoto Project is a charity whose mission is to help send girls in Africa to school so they can make a better life for themselves and their families. Our children made prayer cards for these girls and collected $330. We are just shy of half way to being able to sponsor a girl. It’s not too late to contribute!! If you can help us reach our student sponsorship goal, please send a check or cash in an envelope marked, “Uhuru Watoto Project.” The Uhuru Watoto Project has received the support and blessing of the Bishop of St. Petersburg, Most Reverend Gregory Parkes. For more information on the Uhuru Watoto Project, please visit
