Attention SCDA Member:

The American Dental Association (ADA) has just verified and informed the S tate Associations  that if you applied for the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) - Section 7(b) of SBA prior to March 29th and DID NOT  RECEIVE  an SBA Application Number, the n you will need to re-apply using the new application forms that have now been posted on the SBA website. If you have received an SBA application number, then there is no need to take further action.

I have gone through the reapplication process just now. It is easier than the original. You need less documentation. It takes less time. You will need your business bank routing number and checking account number, AND they will ask you if you will accept the $10,000 grant!! I liked answering that question! When you hit submit, you will immediately have a 10 digit application number pop-up, and they will confirm your email address where they will send future information.

I know this is a hassle. The SBA changed the format of the application. It caught everyone by surprise. But if you did it the old way, this new way will be a breeze.
You may also want to read through the latest facts from the ADA on the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) - Section 7(b) and the Paycheck Protection Loan - Section 7(a) of SBA posted this evening.

Hang with us, we will get through this together. I felt it this was important enough to interrupt your evening to keep you apprised of the most current news regarding this subject.

Sincerely,

Julia K. Mikell, DDS
SCDA President
