National Volunteer Day was December 5th and we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to our wonderful volunteers! Some have been with us for just a few months and some for many, many years. You are an important part of our programs and services and we appreciate all that you have done for CHS's customers, patients, consumers and friends.
INTERPRETER & EXAM UPDATE

CHS is now a testing site for interpreters wanting to take their national interpreter certification tests called the NIC Interview and Performance Exam, as well as the new Deaf Interpreter Performance Exam (DIPE) and Case Studies Exams administered through CASLI (Center for the Assessment of Sign Language Interpretation). If you are Deaf or hearing and are ready to sit for your national test, contact Marijo to schedule.

SIGN LANGUAGE CLASSES AND TUTORING - VIRTUALLY ONLINE

Does your child want to learn sign language? CHS's next session (shortened session during the December holiday break) of children's classes starts December 21st and our theme is Winter Signs. Register today!

Do you want to work individually with a Sign Language Tutor? Or have specialized classes for you, a small group or your work place? CHS offers ASL Tutors for any age or level. Sign up today!
INTERPRETER SERVICES DEPARTMENT (ISD)

ISD is happy to report that we continue to provide quality interpreting and CART services both remotely as well as in-person. So, please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions or make your request directly on our web site.
