March 2020

Back in the winter, a little girl came up with an ingenious idea to raise money for our anti-homelessness programs. Find out how she did it!
"We are an organization that is rooted in community, and we are working hard to find new ways to create community," writes Rod in an open letter to Goddard supporters about the Coronavirus pandemic. "Right now, our outreach team is on the streets helping people who are experiencing homelessness move into permanent housing. Our supportive housing residences are keeping people safe and warm. Our Home Delivered Meals program is still delivering 500 meals each day. We are working hard to ensure some of our most vulnerable neighbors are still surrounded by care, but we need your help now more than ever."
Happy Birthday to Jacinta Silvester, who turned 103 at the beginning of the month! (Back before social distancing started.) She celebrated the way she loves best: dancing. Silvester lives at our Phelps House residence for older adults and enjoyed a party with her neighbors in the Phelps common room.
