SafeDineOC Program Ends October 16
The deadline to apply for the SafeDineOC Restaurant Program is October 16 or whenever the funding is allocated.

The County allocated $10 million in Federal CARES Act funding to support local restaurants that are safely reopening.

Restaurants are eligible for up to $5,000 in reimbursements for purchases like masks, gloves and other personal protective equipment (PPE), site reconfiguration, employee training and cleaning supplies.

Virtual Job Fair October 15

The Virtual Job Fair is from 10 am to 2 pm and will give jobseekers the chance to safely network with multiple employers; visit virtual booths; and to submit their resumes and interview via live chat and video conference.

Simpler PPP Forgiveness for Loans of $50,000 or Less
The U.S. Small Business Administration today released a simpler loan forgiveness application for Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans of $50,000 or less - streamlining the PPP forgiveness process to provide financial and administrative relief to the country's smallest businesses.

SBA began approving PPP forgiveness applications and remitting forgiveness payments to PPP lenders for PPP borrowers on October 2. SBA will continue to process all PPP forgiveness applications in an expeditious manner, officials said in a press release.
