Dear OLMA Families, Alumnae and Friends,

As an educator and school administrator, things like visits, emails, cards, phone calls, and hand-written notes from or about students whose lives we’ve touched in some way are among our most treasured gifts. They have a special way of warming the heart, as well as motivating us to want to do more -- to help more.

Recently, a number of OLMA students, parents and alumnae left reviews on Niche, a leading resource for information on high schools and colleges. While the reviewers were not identified by name, their words made my heart happy. Here's some of what they said:

“My experience at Our Lady of Mercy Academy was amazing. I made a lot of new friends and it was ultimately the best place to grow. OLMA taught me to have strong morals and how to keep my head held high.“

"...OLMA has been one of the best things that my family and I have ever done. Not only am I getting an amazing education but I am learning tools to help me when I am out of high school and move onto a higher education."

"You don’t go into a classroom and not hear girls chanting and encouraging each other to get the right answer or to keep trying."

"Our Lady of Mercy Academy is more than a school it’s a community of supportive students, family, friends and staff. Our young ladies today are faced with so many challenges and OLMA provides a safe, fun and memorable experience that the girls can learn and grow in. I recommend OLMA to any family looking to have their daughter develop into a young confident women."

"Our Lady of Mercy Academy has been a wonderful, nurturing environment that has allowed my daughter to grow academically, spiritually, and socially. They have provided a strong sense of independence with a balanced approach to school and expectations for the future. OLMA offers many experiences that have allowed my daughter to explore various areas of study and leadership roles."

My sincere thanks to these and to the many other members of the OLMA family who have taken the time to share a kind word about a teacher, say thank you for a new opportunity, or update us on their daughters’ accomplishments. You mean the world to us. You and your successes are our reason for being.

We've accomplished a lot, but we're not done yet. We have big plans which is why I'm asking for your support of the 2019-2020 Annual Fund. You can find all of the details on our website . Please take a few minutes to check it out. As you’ll see, your OLMA family is growing -- and is busier than ever thanks to the generosity of so many people like you throughout our 57-year history.

While you’re online, we hope you’ll consider making a donation to this year’s fund. Every penny counts, so gifts of any size are greatly appreciated.
On behalf of all of OLMA, I wish you a blessed holiday season and look forward to seeing you on campus in the new year. Thanks for everything you do.

Fondly,
Brooke A. Coyle
