Caring Women's Connection Yoga, Wine & Chocolate
Today is the last day to register for the Caring Women’s Connection Yoga, Wine and Chocolate scholarship fundraiser on Thursday, Jan. 27 at 6:30 pm. Attendees can participate virtually or in person at Pulsation Yoga for $25, which includes yoga, a small sample of wine and chocolate (available for pickup). Pink Floyd Tribute Band at Raue Center Saturday

The Barrington Park District (BPD) is hosting a trip to see "Evita" at Drury Lane on Thursday, Feb. 17 for adults age 21 or older. Sign Up by Jan. 31 for Go Green Tag Recycling Training
Go Green Barrington is offering training on Tuesday, April 5 at 6:00 pm at the Barrington Village Hall for volunteers to take part in a pilot program to tag recycling bins in the village. The tags will offer information about improving recycling practices, and volunteers must commit to work two Friday mornings in May. Deadline to register is Monday, Jan. 31. Barrington Town-Warming Keynote is Robert Gates
Barrington's White House will host the 5th Annual Barrington Town-Warming on “Security in a Post-Pandemic World” Saturday, Feb. 5 from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm at 145 W. Main St. Keynote speaker is former U.S. Secretary of Defense and CIA Director Robert Gates who will be interviewed via livestream by Motorola Solutions Chairman & CEO Greg Brown. Journalist Corey McPherrin will moderate a panel on the “Security of Our Well-Being” with experts from Chicago Dept. of Public Health, Lake County Health Dept., and Karen Lambert from Advocate Aurora Healthcare. ESO to perform Sgt. Pepper with Jeans 'n Classics
The Elgin Symphony Orchestra will be joined by Jeans ‘n Classics on Feb. 18-20 for performances of “Sgt. Pepper,” a collage of musical genres highlighting a range of instruments conducted by Stephen Squires. Apply for a BACC Scholarship by March 15
BACC is accepting applications for its 2022 Lauren Brown Memorial Scholarship Awards now through Tuesday, March 15. The Chamber awards scholarships each spring to local high school students pursuing higher education through a university, community college, or vocational/trade certification program. Eligible students must be from the Barrington area, or the student of an employee at a BACC member business.
