From Father Kim,

Dear St. James’ folks,
I hope that everyone is staying home and staying safe. During this time of crisis, we continue to staff the office at St. James’ so that we can keep you informed and respond to your needs to the best of our ability. We have parishioners willing to do shopping and other errands so please don’t hesitate to call the office if we can be of any assistance.

In accordance with the State of Delaware, our bishop anticipates that public worship will not resume before the middle of May. If and when these restrictions are lifted, we will let you know right away.

Palm Sunday is April 5 th . I will safely bless palms in church on that day and they will be available for “no contact” pick up in our parking lot after 10:00 am.

Because “nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord” there is no doubt that we will get through this! When we can once again worship in person we WILL celebrate Easter!! What a grand celebration that will be!

God bless,
Fr. Kim
While we're not attending church services at this time, you can still read your bible at home and take this time to meditate and pray.
From Keith St. John:

Dear St. James choir,

I trust you are safe and well during these unprecedented times in our world. An anthem we have sung in the past at St. James immediately comes to mind, and I wanted to share this recording with you...If My People by Joseph Martin.

My God heal our land...

Blessings,
Keith
