This has been brought to our attention and we are gathering information as it relates to MCO recoupment. Please let us know if this has affected your practice. Please e-mail Beth Embry with your name, e-mail and mobile number.

Mississippi Statewide Elections: FamDocPAC Endorsements Prevail
Mississippi elected new statewide officeholders and 174 members of the legislature this past week. Out of 26 FamDocPAC endorsements in the State Senate and State House, we are proud to say each FamDocPAC-endorsed candidate won his or her race. Mississippi's election results are posted here.

At the Fall Intensive November 2, FamDocPAC received more than $6,215 in donations from attendees.  It's not too late to give for 2019 - click here for our donation form.

Number of 'Live Healthy' Car Tags on Mississippi Roads Rising
MAFP Foundation has stepped up its marketing efforts to sell more Live Healthy specialty license tags to Mississippi drivers, and it's paying off.

This spring, the Foundation has promoted the tags through postcards mailed to members as well as information stuffed in AAFP dues invoices.

Each Live Healthy car tag sold nets $24 for the foundation, and, in the first nine months of this year, 316 have been sold. That puts our numbers on track to reach more than 400 tags this year, more than ever sold before.

Have YOU purchased the only tag that supports Family Medicine in Mississippi yet? If the answer is no, please consider it when you renew your tag the next time.

In addition, please encourage your family members and friends to get the tag and add some bright color to the back of their car.
