February 2022
Winter Storm Izzy has moved on and left us with some breathtaking snow scenes from the mountains and valleys where we live. What a beautiful place we get to live in!
One of the best things about being snowed in is that it gives us extra time to work on the crafts we love.

Here's how we spent our 'snowed-in" weekend.

Amy knit a pair of fingerless gloves in Malabrigo Rios, one of our favorite worsted weight yarns. The pattern is Lambing Mitts and has a fabulous cuff to cover up the tops of your fingers for your chilly morning walks.

Look what is on Virginia's loom! A beautiful '"stash buster" blanket for a special granddaughter. This pattern could easily be adapted for a Rigid Heddle Loom. Come see Virginia on Thursdays and let her help you plan your next project for your loom.
Need a new hat pattern? Karen knit this adorable hat for a brand new baby girl. The pattern name is Loch and it is knit with a sport weight yarn. This is a lovely lace pattern that is great for anyone who wants to learn how to read a chart when knitting.
The pattern comes in sizes Baby - Adult.
Kristin started a a new scarf in Luma, from The Fibre Company. The scarf is inspired by Rin Shima from a Japanese anime called Yuru Camp. Kristin will have this done before it snows again this weekend.
I've got a notion...
that you're going to want to check out these new notions and project bags from CocoKnits, Lantern Moon,
 and Della Q.

This adorable little sheep is perfect holding "all those things".
