The fifth biennial International Congress on Pathogens at the Human-Animal Interface (ICOPHAI) took place from September 24-26 in Québec City, Canada. Scientists, faculty and professionals from universities, the private sectors and governments from around the world gathered to discuss new challenges of applying the One Health approach in a changing environment. Presenters represented more than 16 countries including Brazil, Burkina Faso, Canada, Cote D'Ivoire, Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Kenya, Mexico, Pakistan, Senegal, Somalia, Tanzania, United States and Vietnam. The congress concluded by selecting the next two ICOPHAI congress host countries, France (2021) and Mexico (2023). |
