IIDA Indiana Board Update 

Recently, Mary Bonin, our VP of Professional Development moved to Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Chapter of IIDA! We wish her well on her new adventure in Denver and we will miss her dearly. The Board voted to appoint a new VP of Professional Development to complete the remainder of Mary's term. We are pleased to feature our newest Board Member: Katie Wraley! 

4L. What encouraged you to join the IIDA Board?

KW. I was lucky enough to serve as a board member of the Virginia/ West Virginia IIDA Chapter for 6 years prior to moving "home" to Indiana. That time gave me an understanding of how IIDA can promote a sense of community between chapter members, up and coming students, and in the places we live and work. I'm looking forward to building on that sense of community that I have already experienced many times since I've been back in Indianapolis.

4L.  What advice do you have for students/young designers?  

KW.  Be a sponge! Ask the hard questions, don't give up, and push the envelope.
