The Hartford County Medical Association intends to hold several conference meetings in the days ahead with experts that will help you navigate the legal, accounting, and business insurance issues as a result of Covid-19. The first conference meeting will be with employment lawyer Robert G. Brody who will discuss:
- CT Unemployment Benefits for the Employer and Employee
- Considerations concerning staff reduction in hours and terminations
- CT Shared Work Program (reducing employees’ hours)
- COBRA – Does an employer need to offer COBRA to an employee? If not COBRA, what other options are available
- Practical considerations dealing with the challenges
