Tenant Based Rental Assistance is now available in Placer County! TBRA provides rental subsidies to very low-income individuals and families in Placer County (excluding the City of Roseville) impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. TBRA runs until Dec. 31, 2020 and is limited to available funds. Participants must meet program criteria, including income thresholds. Interested renters should review eligibility criteria and then contact 211 for screening. Dial 211 or 1-833-DIAL211 to begin the screening process. Although TBRA is available in Placer County only, Nevada County renters are still protected under California's Covid-19 Tenant Relief Act of 2020. This new law outlines protections against evictions for missed rent due to Covid-19. Tahoe Truckee residents can contact Sierra Community House for mediation and legal services at 530-546-0952.

Rising Community Leadership Program for Teens

Adventure Risk Challenge (ARC) is starting a weekly program for 9th grade students at Truckee & North Tahoe High Schools focused on leadership development, academic support, and outdoor experiences.
