Reparations, Reverse Discrimination, and Reconstruction 3.0
February 27th at 10:30 am
led by Marge Fisher
These words represent difficult issues for each of us to ponder. They invoke serious consideration of each one of our Unitarian Universalist Seven Principles. In Sunday’s service, we will be reflecting on them by centering the words and perspectives of Black voices – what they are saying to us and what we are called to hear from them. Our goal is to gain some perspective for ourselves and to consider ways we can work toward effecting real change for the Black lives that share the world we live in, with the clear understanding that we ourselves must be changed in the process.
This service will be available both in person and on Zoom; masks are required in person.

Membership News -
If you are interested in officially joining as a member of UUCSW, please email laurel.gray@uucsw.org. Becoming a member is an act of formally claiming your belonging in this congregation and committing yourself to participate in this network of mutual care. And it means you get to vote at the annual meeting! UU congregations are fully self-funded and self-organized, so we hold a meeting each June to vote on leadership positions and the following year's budget. Signing the membership book makes you both eligible to vote and to serve in elected leadership roles.
One of the joys of being a UU congregation is that all who enter come freely, so there is no obligation to formally sign the membership book in order to belong here. On Members & Friends Sunday (March 13th) we'll gather to celebrate all the ways of being together in community. We hope to see you there in person or on Zoom!

Join us for UUpalUUza, a celebration of our members and friends. There will be cupcakes to decorate, games, seeing your friends in person, and a special group project.
Saturday, March 12th in the Chapel.

Greetings Circle RE Community!
Circle RE is ready to begin! Here's our schedule for the next several gatherings:
Feb. 27th, 1 - 2:30 PM at First Parish Northboro
March 13th, 1 - 2:30 PM at Westboro
March 27th, 10 - 11:45 AM at Marlboro/Hudson.
Note that we will move to a morning RE schedule on March 27th, starting at 10 AM, for parents who want to drop off and go to their home congregation, and ending between 11:45 - 12 PM, as parents travel back to pick up their children. We will continue with this morning schedule for the rest of the spring.
Circle RE will begin each Sunday with the whole RE community together, so drop off will be in the Hall at Northboro and Marlboro/Hudson, and up in the Chapel at Westboro. We will start taking kids as early as 10 AM, but even If you're not traveling to another congregation, we'd still love to have all our kids in programming by 10:15/10:20 AM, so we can begin our program before heading into the Sanctuary for the start of service.
While dropping off and picking kids up for RE is welcomed when we're not at your home congregation, please know that you're always invited to join one of the other congregations for service if you'd rather stay in the same building as your children.
Registration
Starting this Sunday, I would like all RE families to fill out a registration form for their children that we can keep on file. As we are allowing parents to drop off children and go to a different church for service, it will be important that we have paperwork with full contact info and important health concerns for each child. Parents will be given a form at the start of programming for the next several weeks - please fill this out and get it back to me ASAP. You can also download our form and send it electronically if you prefer - the registration form can be found at: https://uuspiritualexploration.edublogs.org/registration.
Youth Group
Our YG trip to Central Rock Gym in Worcester is approaching! We will be going on Saturday, March 5th from 1 - 3:30 PM. - that's a week from this Saturday! If you haven't yet confirmed your teen's attendance with me, please do so ASAP.
Bright Blessings, Cynthia
