A recent graduate of Baylor University earning her Master of Social Work, Joy's studies, internships, and employment experiences have focused around child development, clinical mental health education and counseling, empowerment with women and girls, and racial diversity & equity leadership. IMH Advocacy Award Conference

The 2020 Infant Mental Health Advocacy Award Conference will provide a wealth of knowledge and skills building to professionals in the early childhood field.
The morning keynote will be presented by Joshua Sparrow, MD, Executive Director, Brazelton Touchpoints Center, as he will discuss Conversation on Culturally Responsive Trauma Informed Practices During and After COVID-19.
The afternoon session will host a variety of panelists to discuss the impacts of COVID-19 in early childhood and steps towards recovery across sectors. Panelists include: Nicole Allen, Child Care Contract Manager, Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County; Ximena Antunez de Mayolo, Program Officer, Rainwater Charitable Foundation; Shalyn Bravens, Director of Family Connects and MIECHV, United Way for Greater Austin, & Tonyel Edwards, Program Officer, Houston Endowment.
The closing keynote, Ebonyse Mead, Ed.D., CFLE, President, Educational Equity Institute, will discuss Promoting Equity through Racial Healing.

Join us for the 4th Annual Par-Tee for Babies Golf Tournament Presented by Joe Funk Construction taking place on Tuesday, October 6th at Stonebridge Country Club. Golfers will enjoy a putting contest, 18 holes of scramble style golf, and a variety of on-course lunch options followed by our award ceremony and cocktail reception featuring a silent auction!

Baby Day will be a week-long bonding and delight experience offering live streamed and on-demand activities & resources for caregivers and very young children. Join us Sunday, February 7th through Saturday, February 13th for activities like infant yoga, music classes, dance classes, curated art activities, mindfulness & breathing exercises, storytime, sensory play, tummy time, and MORE!
