Detroit Festival to premiere alumna's short film
UWindsor alumna Xavier Vance's MFA '20 film Day One was selected for screening at Detroit’s Trinity International Film Festival later this month. The film, Vance’s Master’s thesis she successfully defended in January, is adapted from a short story she wrote years ago. She plays the female lead, Dasia. She directed, produced, and edited the eleven minute film. Continue reading.

WIFF to host drive-in movies
WIFF will use the Riverfront Festival Plaza and Civic Terrace from August 28 to September 12 for a drive-in movie event - WIFF Under the Stars. All participants must remain in their vehicles. Concession sales of popcorn and other snacks delivered to your car will complete the full drive-in experience.

Alumni golf tournament cancelled
With the impact of physical distancing and golf course restrictions on our ability to deliver an event in an engaging, safe manner, the Alumni Golf Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 tournament.

As we look past the 2020 event, our focus turns to ensuring that the 2021 Alumni & Friends Golf Tournament, scheduled for Monday, July 26th, 2021 at Ambassador Golf Club - proves to be the best tournament yet.

The Alumni Association continues to offer quality Canadian-made wood frames to display your degree with pride. Frames will be shipped directly from the manufacturer to your home.
