Saturday night was special as Ivan Parker and his son, Josh, blessed us with a night of music, testimony, and Gospel! Thank you to each one who was able to come share in this worship experience.
Sunday we were able to recognize 19 people who read the Bible through in 2021. That was the most we have had in one year since 2018. Don Smith completed his 45th reading! He must have started this string before Robin was born! There is still time to commit to reading the Bible through in 2022. All it takes is making up your mind and sticking to it!
Rhys Everspaugh preached a wonderful sermon on Sunday. I have heard from so many who were touched by his message. One man texted me on Sunday evening and said that he hadn’t been able to get it out of his mind all afternoon! God was moving powerfully in both services. Thank you to Bob Gunn and Jet Clogher for their music special in the 8:30 service, and to Mendy Miltier / Lori Replogle and the Children’s Choir for leading us in worship through music in the 11:00 service!
This coming Sunday I will close out the JBS sermon series on Psalms: The Character of God. The theme for this message is “God Offers Hope.” I hope you are already making plans to join us!
You are loved!
Dan
