Be Transformed by Christ. See Transformation for Christ.
Our mission is to know, show, and share the love of Jesus Christ with our community and world.
CHRISTMAS AT TABERNACLE
This December, we will have three special worship services celebrating the Christmas season. Below is a description of each event.

Christmas at Tabernacle (Sunday, December 8 at 5 PM) is our largest presentation and will feature festive Christmas music led by the Tabernacle Choir & Orchestra, 1st-5th grade worship arts groups, a costumed nativity scene, and dramatic elements. Also, don't miss the all-church Christmas reception in the Fellowship Hall following the concert. Childcare is available for this service.
Silent Lord's Supper (Sunday, December 22 at 5 PM) is a meditative time to observe the Lord's Supper without spoken words or singing. The shorter service will be accompanied by instrumental music and will focus our hearts around Christ's sacrifice for us through specific scripture passages and prayers. Childcare is available for this service.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service (Tuesday, December 24 at 5 PM) is an exciting time as we share in the joy of Christ's coming to earth. This family service for all ages will feature carol singing, the reading of the Christmas story for kids, and a mass candle lighting at the end of the service. We invite the entire family to worship together as no childcare will be available.
ALL CHURCH
Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
It's that time of the year again for our annual Lottie Moon Christmas
Offering for International Missions. Between now and the end of the year, every penny
designated for the Lottie Moon offering will go directly to support our missionaries on
the field through the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
The Missions Partnership Council has set a goal of $25,000.00 for this year. As you
prayerfully consider your involvement, we want to challenge you to give sacrificially
above and beyond your normal tithes and offerings so the gospel can continue to reach
every tribe and tongue.
Christmas Store
It's almost time for the Christmas Store which will serve over 200 children in 75 families this year. Each child will receive an outfit and one or two toys. We will also collect canned goods and rolls of wrapping paper. Collection boxes will be located in the hallway outside the Fellowship Hall. Gifts will be accepted in room 209 beginning December 8.
Poinsettia Sale
It's now time for the yearly poinsettia sale to decorate the Worship Center. Each plant is $15 and forms are now available in the church office or online. The deadline for orders is Monday, December 9. You may take them home from the worship center after the Chirstmas Eve service.
Church Directory Distribution
Church Directories are here! These will be available for distribution after Sunday School and after Worship on Sunday, December 8, at the hallway table outside the Worship Center. If you had your portrait made for the directory, you may pick up one directory for you and your family. These will also be available in the church office. If you did not get your photo made and would like a directory, these will be available on a first-come, first-served basis after December 8. For questions about directories, please contact Lynn in the church office.
