Online Guides for Supporting Local in NH
There are many online guides to help patrons know where to "support local" this holiday season.

Here are a few:

Shopping Local in The Moose, NH
The Moose, NH, which promotes the WONDERFUL in Brookfield, Farmington, Middleton, Milton, New Durham, Wakefield and Wolfeboro, will hold its Holiday Stop & Shop event from Dec. 3-6.

This three-day event encourages residents and visitors to stop by each of the 15 participating small businesses and shop local this holiday season. Each business has their own hours for the event and each offers a unique experience.

For every purchase made during the event, patrons will receive a raffle ticket for a prize basket including a gift from each participating business - their thanks for coming out and supporting local!

This event is proudly sponsored by Explore Moose Mountains and the Greater Wakefield Chamber of Commerce

Towns of Durham and Newmarket Prepare for Share the Light event
Businesses in Durham, Newmarket, and the surrounding region are invited to register as participating merchants in the Share The Light event. Share the Light is a month-long campaign from November 27 till December 20, and is a community-wide initiative to support local businesses. It also serves to raise funds for vulnerable children in Durham, Newmarket and surrounding communities.

The culminating event, Light the Night, will be on Sunday, Dec. 20, and encourages entire communities to light unique luminary bags in front of homes, neighborhoods, businesses and public buildings.
