The FAU Tech Runway family grieves the loss of two of our most beloved and talented colleagues.
Marty Doyle passed away recently, from complications related to hip surgery he had undergone several weeks ago. Marty was an exceptionally talented mentor who served in the FAU Tech Runway Team Mentoring Program for several years. Everyone who had the honor of working with him was blessed by his intelligence, commitment, humility and warmth. Martyβs family will share details of the planned memorial service and other ways for us to pay our respects, in the coming weeks. This is huge loss not only for his family members, but for all of the entrepreneurs and mentors who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
Lloyd Webber passed away on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020. Lloyd died from complications related to stage 4 metastatic colon cancer. He had been hospitalized since Sept. 16. Lloydβs passionate commitment to assisting aspiring entrepreneurs was unequalled and his loss leaves a huge void in the mentor teams on which he was serving. Memorial services are being planned for family, friends, and colleagues, in both Delray Beach and Washington, DC; information will be shared when received. Lloydβs brother Stanley has established a GoFundMe page on Lloydβs behalf, where you may make a memorial gift to honor this incredible colleague (www.gofundme.com/y5a6t-fighting-cancer).
