SENIOR PANORAMIC PHOTO MONDAY
The senior panoramic photo has been scheduled to be taken this coming Monday, May 17 at 2:30 p.m. at the Duarte High School football stadium. ALL seniors are invited to attend, regardless of whether they are participating in virtual or hybrid instruction. Upon arrival, seniors will sign in and have their temperatures checked at the gate to the football stadium before entering. Students must wear masks at all times and will be spaced out according to CDC guidelines in the stadium stands. Supervision will be in effect and administrators will be present. If a senior is unable to attend, we will work with our photographer to add in their school picture in a creative way.

Please click here to view the list of seniors who have already purchased a panoramic photo. No refunds will be issued. If you have not yet purchased the photo and would like to, envelopes with directions can be found at the front desk and will be available the day the photo is taken as well.
LIMITED YEARBOOKS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
Attention families! If you have not yet purchased a 2020-2021 yearbook and would still like to do so, please email Ms. Noh at jane.noh@sgv.csarts.net or have your student stop by her classroom as soon as possible. Limited quantities are available.
AP TESTING INFORMATION
Families of students who have signed up to take any of the AP exams have been receiving emails and updates from AP Coordinator Nicole Read. Please be sure to read those emails carefully for important directions regarding testing.

For those students taking their tests remotely from home (which is the vast majority of students this year), it is very important to be digitally prepared. Make sure you are ready by following along with this document, and then please double check against this checklist from College Board. On testing day, digital, at-home test-takers who begin their testing at 9 a.m. will be excused from attending school on campus or virtually to focus on taking their AP exams. Afternoon test-takers who begin their testing at 1 p.m. will be expected to attend their morning classes virtually. They will be excused from attending Block 6 in order to prepare for their AP exams. Our Attendance Office will clear all AP exam absences prior to testing.

For the small number of students testing on campus, please arrive at least 15 minutes before your exam is scheduled to begin at the exam room specified in the email you received. Please visit the bathroom, if needed, prior to arriving. Continue to follow all COVID-19 safety protocols and wear a mask while on campus.

FREE PRACTICE SAT/ACT EXAMS
CSArts-SGV is partnering with Revolution Prep to provide our students with the opportunity to practice taking college admissions exams for free, while remaining safely at home. A proctored practice exam is the best way to get a real-time snapshot of testing performance in order to create a testing plan and timeline.

Why take a practice exam? Although many colleges and universities are currently test optional, some students are pursuing SAT or ACT scores to strengthen their applications, to qualify for scholarships, and to understand their academic strengths and weaknesses. By taking a free Practice ACT and/or SAT exam, students can determine which exam(s) they are best suited for. Taking a mock exam is also a great way to determine if taking an official exam is right for you.

The free remote practice exams will be administered on Saturday, May 22 and Saturday, May 29 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. You may choose to take either the Practice SAT or Practice ACT for each administration date. Please click here to register. The deadline to register is the Thursday prior to each exam date. Materials and instructions will be emailed to students 24 hours before the exams.
