The corona virus (COVID-19) is now present in nearly every country in the world from China to America to Haiti– the poorest country in our hemisphere. This worldwide disease was not a topic of conversation on New Year’s Eve, but since then it has taken thousands of lives and now threatens millions of people. And it will require bold and sacrificial steps to not only defeat it but to help the least of these survive under very difficult conditions.
- Hope Factory™ volunteer events have ceased, production events cancelled, and like you, our plans for the next several weeks are on hold. Yet, children are in need now more than ever. ACHI has responded by supplying our Hands Against Hunger® high protein food and Promise Water® to children and families in our area who lost access to both for no fault of their own.
- We are eager to resume normal operations and welcome back 1000s of incredible volunteers to produce Hope Boxes™ again. We have ordered tons of supplies and are making sure every aspect of the Hope Factory™ is ready to ramp up production. But we need your help.
- We cannot singlehandedly overcome the hardships this global pandemic has created for people – and ultimately, it's all about people. It’s not about buildings, programs or business plans. It’s about people. People who need help and are on the fringe of life. We are committed to doing whatever we can and as fast as we can keeping HOPE alive.
