The Peace and Global Witness Offering encourages the church to cast off anxiety and fear, discord and division, and embrace God's mission of reconciliation to those around the corner and around the world.
25% of what Highland receives in this offering stays in our community and is reflected in our support of the Interfaith Federation of Greater Baton Rouge.

World Communion Sunday
October 4, 2020
The first Sunday in October is designated as World Communion Sunday, which celebrates our oneness in Christ with all our brothers and sisters around the world. In honor of this Sunday, HPC will be observing communion with individually sealed communion sets for those who wish to participate.

Congratulations to Maira and Henrique!
Congratulations are in order for Maira and her husband Henrique for the newest addition to their family, Clara, born on August 8th. Many of you will remember Maira (Braga Cabral) from when she served as pianist at HPC.

Rev. Day continues our journey with the early Christians in the Book of Acts on Sunday. "Standing by Words" is the title for his sermon that will focus on Acts 9:19b-31 and Psalm 46.
