A Virtual Conference Success Story
The Golf Business Canada Conference & Trade Show ended last Wednesday, and early feedback indicates that our first venture into a virtual conference was nothing less than a success. The virtual event delivered more education than ever before, saw many new faces join from across the country, included some unique networking virtual style, and showcased industry suppliers in our virtual exhibit hall. The opening ceremonies for our virtual Golf Business Canada Conference & Trade Show featured a special video from golfers across the country as well as a couple well-known celebrities thanking you, golf course operators, owners, and your teams for being open this past summer and how being able to golf made dealing with COVID-19 bearable. The NGCOA Canada Annual General Meeting will take place virtually this year on December 8 at 2 PM EST. Details and log on information will be sent soon and we encourage you to join us. This is also an election year at the NGCOA Canada and our AGM will be the official announcement of your new board working on your behalf for the next two years. We would like to introduce you to the newest member of the NGCOA Canada family, Miss Nora Margaret Scott. Dad, Ryley Scott, NGCOA Canada’s Director of Golfmax and Business Development says that, other than being a little tired, the Scott family (dad, mom Jennifer and big sister Henny) are all doing well and excited to now be a family of four!
