V3 Launches New Praxis Co-ops
by Mike Pumphrey
V3 is a grassroots church planting movement that seeks to start and sustain new churches with the practice of boundary-crossing mission, locally rooted presence, life-forming discipleship, and tight-knit community.
We are excited for the start of our new Praxis Co-ops in Hampton Roads, Washington DC, and Los Angeles—each consisting of 12 community leaders from area churches—journeying together for 18 months around soul care, community formation, neighborhood transformation, and multiplication of discipleship groups.

Virginia Baptist Pastor's Conference at the BGAV Annual Meeting
November 11, 2019 - Roanoke, VA
Start off your time at the
BGAV 2019 Annual Meeting
by attending the Virginia Baptist Pastor's Conference on Monday, November 11, from 12:30-2:45 p.m. at Bonsack Baptist Church. Join fellow ministers and be encouraged and equipped to renew your personal walk with God in and through prayer.
The theme is “Renew Through Prayer.” Guest speakers will be Dr. Herbert L. Ponder, pastor at Mount Tabor Baptist Church in Richmond, VA; and Don Davidson, pastor at First Baptist Church in Alexandria, VA. Nico Hale from Chesapeake, VA – a young hip-hop, rap, base-beating, Christ-centered poet – will be the guest musician.
An offering will be collected that will be used to help cover the BGAV Pastor’s Conference expense, and nominations will be received and chosen for the 2020 BGAV Pastor’s Conference President, Vice-President, and Treasurer. After the Pastor’s Conference you will be able to attend Monday afternoon's breakout sessions offered by the BGAV.
No formal registration is required to attend the Pastor's Conference, so we hope to see you there as part of your time at this year's
