A Word From Our Principal

Dear SFB Families,

We are adopting the guideline of quarantining for five days upon a positive COVID result. After five days if students are fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications and have symptom improvement, students may return to school, mask optional. We recommend, but do not require, you and your family to refer to the local health department to make your own further quarantine decisions accordingly.
An updated version of our plan will be available in the near future. Meetings and discussions have taken place and again are scheduled for next week regarding details of the plan.
In short:
  • School goal of remaining open and face-to-face
  • Masks optional
  • 5-day quarantine
  • Text announcements to specific grades only

We are still in great need of substitute teachers. Please consider helping us by substitute teaching at school. Plans are provided for you to follow. You need to be Safe Environment trained in order to sub. Contact frontdesk@sfbschool.org with any questions.

Thank you for your assistance volunteering in various ways throughout the school. All assistance brings our community together in many various ways - working together makes our school shine! As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace. (1 Peter 4:10) God our Father and our Creator, You bestow on us gifts and talents to develop and use in accord with Your will. Grant us, through the intercession of St. Joseph the Worker, as model and guide, employment and work, that we may with dignity, provide for those who depend upon others for care and support. Grant us the opportunities to use energy, talents, and abilities for the good of all, and the glory of Your name. Amen.

Blessings to you and yours,
Principal Amy Royes

Family Adoration at SFB Church
Looking for a way for the whole family to unwind from the stressful week? As we enter into the season of Advent, consider Family Adoration on Friday nights 6-7pm. Pray a little & play a little!

Adoration is available upstairs. Parents can socialize and form new friendships downstairs, while kids play (air hockey, foosball, color, snacks and TV are available for their entertainment).

Children are encouraged to rotate from upstairs to pray and downstairs to play as they desire, letting them freely get to know the comfort of Jesus’s presence. Please contact Michele Garey at michelegarey@gmail.com with any questions.
