Give a gift that lasts a lifetime…...For our kids!
As we prepare to give thanks for our blessings and to celebrate our Savior’s birth, we pause to reflect on how grateful we are for a new, expanded, safe place for our kids to attend school. This year, despite COVID, we celebrate God’s goodness and protection for our school and our families. We are so very thankful for our wonderful new, upgraded campus that has everyone abuzz with the technology, upgraded science labs, and our new cafe, which will be open soon and will feature a full breakfast and lunch menu.
As you can imagine, with all of the COVID protection upgrades and moving to our beautiful new campus, this has created an expansive increase in our operational costs. We have added state of the art COVID protection, including infrared lights in our air conditioning system, daily disinfection of our campus using Safe Companies products, and upgraded our security systems, including temperature probes. In addition, we have updated our expansive new P-12 curriculum, added an infant care center, expanded educational technology and equipment, and added new resources, faculty, and staff to meet our students’ needs. We made all of these upgrades to enhance the learning experience for our students. These are important and necessary improvements; however, this has increased our expenses by about $1,000,000 above our tuition.
We know that God is so faithful to meet all of our needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. It is a blessing that we get to prayerfully partner with Him by supporting our Annual Fund this coming Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is exciting to have the opportunity to give back and to make a difference in our school.
Jack and I are committed to supporting Christian education and HCS because we know our school’s impact on our kids, from our infant program through High School. To show our support, we have given substantially, supporting the campaign to open the school, the campaign for expanding equipment, and the fundraiser to put sod on our sports field. Now, we are excited to join with all of you in supporting our Annual Fund. Jack and I love to give even though our kids graduated from other Christian schools long ago because we know that our gift will have eternal benefits, and so WE ARE ALL IN!! We hope you will prayerfully consider joining, with all of our dedicated faculty, in giving to our Christmas Annual Fund. Despite their non-profit, Christian school salaries, our staff gives to this fund and other campaigns because they really love your kids! (See our list of needs and cost attached in this newsletter.)
Can I count on you to be ALL IN and to give abundantly to provide for our wonderful school’s many needs, as well as Christmas bonuses for our dedicated staff?
Thank you so much for your prayers, your partnership, and your generosity!
Blessings,
Karen Winter
