Hats and lap blankets for the Cancer Center
Calling all knitters! We're collecting hats and lap blankets for the Cancer Center at Augusta Health. Stop by the front desk to pick up a bag with specific instructions for your hat or blanket. When your project is finished, put it in the bag to keep it clean and drop it back at the front desk.

For all projects, experts recommend cotton or bamboo yarn (wool can be scratchy on sensitive skin). Hats can use any snug-fitting pattern, and shouldn't be more than 8" from center to edge. Adult sizes are preferred, as the CDC doesn't recommend homemade or donated hats for young children during chemotherapy. Lap blankets are generally 36"x52", but any size is appreciated.
