May Allah find you all in the best of health and Iman. We share your concerns about the Coronavirus pandemic. We have established a leadership team including administration, nursing staff, and a dedicated staff to guide RSA through this health awareness crisis. Inshallah this email will enlighten you on the correct protocol and the precautionary measures for the coronavirus. An email was sent to the Staff last week on how to maintain a clean/sanitized environment for our children.
A few actions that have been taken include:
Teachers are disinfecting the classrooms both in the morning and after school.
We have added antibacterial dispensers all around the building.
The proper washing and the correct way to cover a cough or a sneeze was demonstrated to the children during morning assembly.
Our custodial staff will increase the level of cleaning throughout the day.
We have procedures in place to ensure students and staff who become ill at school will be attended to and sent home as soon as possible.
We are evaluating field trips on a case-by-case basis.
Notice will be provided if school closure is necessary, and we are preparing for continuation of learning.
We request parents/guardians make sure their contact information is correct.
A parent/guardian or emergency contact should be available to pick up a sick student within half an hour.
We want to remind everyone that the best defense is hand washing.
Please keep your child home if sick.
In addition if you or your children are traveling abroad, please notify us about the location of travel. We are committed to the safety of all students, staff, and families. As of today, we are taking all the correct protocol needed to maintain a normal school day to day basis. If the situation worsens, our leadership team is ready to take action with what is necessary to continue our children's education.
