Equity Team Invite to Parents
The Building Equity Team is seeking a few interested parents to lend a new perspective to our team. The goal of the Equity Team is to enhance and improve efforts to ensure academic success for all students by closing opportunity gaps for students and providing equitable and inclusive working and learning environments for all students, families, staff and communities. As a Platinum Level School of Excellence, RMS and its PTSA would love to continue improving on our community engagement and communications. Please take the 5-minute survey to help us focus our efforts on areas that need the most improvement. The survey will be open from now until November 12.

Join us for a 30-minute check in for Coffee with the Principal on Tuesday, November 12 at 9:30 AM at RMS. We will be discussing the School Improvement Plan, review last year’s data and goals for this year.
Parent Education: "Bully-Proofing Our Schools"
RMS PTSA FACE (Family and Community Engagement) presents this year’s first parent education event on "Bully-proofing Our Schools" on November 14 from 6:00-7:30 PM at RMS. The speaker, Dr. Len Fellez, formerly principals at three Redmond schools, will give parents practical strategies to use with their children and focus on getting parents to examine THEIR attitudes in THEIR own lives. He combines the dramatic with humor for practical and applicable strategies. Come join us!
SchoolPool Tracker Deadline is November 6 (Repeat)
Only TWO MORE DAYS to have your students turn in their SchoolPool tracker to make a huge difference to the school. Each returned tracker is worth $5, up to $3,000 for RMS. Fill in contact info and drop off trackers into the drop box located in the school's main office by Wednesday, November 6, 1:20 PM .

Food Box Donations For Thanksgiving Break
The Redmond Food Box program will once again be collecting boxes of foods for our families who need a little extra help. Students who receive free and reduced lunches at school don't receive this nutrition when school is on break. We provide healthy food for families to help close this gap. Please sign up to donate a box with items from the grocery list provided. We will hold the donation collection on Tuesday, November 26 at Redmond Presbyterian Church, from 7:00-10:00 AM.
