Elementary School
Weekly Bulletin
9/09/2020
O God of Creation, you have blessed us with the changing of the seasons.
As we welcome the autumn months,
may the earlier setting of the sun
remind us to take time to rest.

May the brilliant colors of the leaves
remind us of the wonder of your creation.

May the steam of our breath in the cool air
remind us that it is you who give us the breath of life.

May the harvest from the fields remind us of the abundance we have been given and bounty we are to share with others.
May the dying of summer's spirit remind us of your great promise that death is temporary and life is eternal.
We praise you for your goodness forever and ever. Author Unknown

Recycling Sunshine and Smiles

Welcome everyone! We hope that your family is off to a fantastic start of school! Thank you to our wonderful families that helped us share a little sunshine by placing welcome signs in the yards of our newest students. New families we hope you enjoyed the signs! When the time is right to take down your sign we would love to tuck it away to welcome new students next year, sort of a "recycled sunshine". The signs can be brought to any of our campuses. Blessings on your school year!
The world looks a little different right now and we cannot always gather in our traditional ways, BUT we still want to see our volunteers and get your feedback and input on what we should do this year because we also still need to raise money!
It is time to think way outside the box (we need ALL IDEAS) and be outside! Please plan to join us for a Celebrate brainstorming meeting TODAY at noon. Please bring your lawn chair as we will be meeting socially distanced and outside at Xavier High School. (If there is inclement weather on Wednesday, our “rain date” will be Thursday, September 10 at noon.)
Please plan to join us to brainstorm and have some fun while we come together, catch up, and meet new friends. Celebrate is a great way to volunteer and to meet people from all campuses. Younger children not yet in school are always welcome at meetings.
Questions or can’t attend, but still want to be involved? Contact Lisa Pfaff at lpfaff@XavierCatholicSchools.org or 735-9380.
