Whether your family will be actually hitting the road this summer or not,
find ways to travel the country from the comfort of your own home!
Take virtual road trips and tours of American national parks and museums,
and make treats and crafts to remind you of your travels.

Virtual Road Trips (all ages):
Take a trip out west to see marvelous landscapes and natural occurrences in
Yellowstone and Yosemite National Parks. If you’ve already seen enough of the great outdoors, go down south and tour the U.S. Space & Rocket center
with a father-son duo as guides!

Create your own picturesque painting of any landscape you choose!
With the mountain, sailboat, and cactus silhouette templates, children can
paint scenes reminding them of somewhere that they’ve been or somewhere
they hope to one day visit soon.

Road Trip games.
In-case you are planning a road trip this summer, here are activities
that will engage children in the experience and aid in a smooth ride for everyone.

Healthy Car Shaped Snack (pre-k – 2 nd )
With healthy ingredients and toothpicks, children can create their
own vehicles for travel – right into their stomachs!
Please share with us a photo or story
of how you’re enjoying these activities at home.
We’d love to see what you’re up to!
