Peabody School featured at NAGC

Peabody School's Middle School was featured last week at the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) convention. Our Assistant Head of School, Ms. Young presented two workshops on "Differentiating Arts & Enrichment Program Offerings For a Gifted Student Population" and "Reimagining Student Service to Engage Kids, Develop Leaders, and Build Social Consciousness." These presentations highlight our work with both Arts and Enrichment and Service Learning models in our Middle School. We are humbled and proud to highlight these programs to colleagues from around the country.
Skulls and Arrowhead Presentation

Tim Andrus, who is a local artist and expert on animal skulls and arrowheads visited our students in Grades 3-5 today. He gave an absolutely terrific presentation to our classes about his collection of animal skulls and rare arrowheads.

Peabody Enrichment Program Winter Registration

UVA College Republicans visit Peabody

Three members of the University of Virginia College Republicans joined our Middle School students on Friday to discuss policy and important issues of the day. We look forward to inviting students from other parties during this presidential election cycle.
2019-2020 Annual Fund 

The 2019-20 Annual Fund is now officially underway! Thank you in advance for your consideration of a gift to Peabody School for the 2019-20 year. Everyone should have received our Annual Report in the mail last week. Thank you for being such strong supporters of Peabody School!
Snow Club

K-5 Talent Show

Happy fall! The K-5 talent show is approaching and we wanted to make you aware of all of the details surrounding it. The talent show itself will take place on Friday, November 22nd at 6:30pm at the IX Art Park stage. Students who are performing in the talent show must arrive at 6:00pm. Although it is K-5, if students have an act they would like to perform with a sibling not in that age range, that is fine as long as they audition together. 
 
To participate in the talent show, students must audition for Ms. Colleen and Mr. Wyatt during lunch or recess in the week before the talent show. We do this to ensure that every student has something prepared, and no one will be walking onstage without a firm act in mind. We have been announcing this to the students so they should be aware of the auditions.

25th Anniversary Celebration!
