I am grateful to have been born in a place where each season brings with it distinct and dramatic change. While fall has always been my favorite, I’ve come to understand the importance of each season in the life cycle. The hope that comes with knowing “this too shall pass” when winter cold or summer heat has me longing for moderation. God’s faithfulness revealed each time winter gives way to spring. The mud and muck of spring yielding to the burst of summer growth. But there’s just something special about fall in Minnesota.
