It’s Spring! Time for warmer temperatures and a long-awaited reawakening. Looking beyond Covid, we anticipate and welcome the return to restaurant dining, travel, sporting events, concerts and, most of all, connecting with family and friends.
O,R&L Construction weathered the pandemic by staying busy with a diverse range of exciting projects. While facing labor and material shortages, in addition to adhering to the CDC health protocols, we managed to move jobs forward. Our standardized lean approach has had a profound impact on well executed projects - from inception to ribbon cutting.
Faced with the continued challenges of a volatile market, our Team is more focused and committed than ever to serve you. We will continue to work diligently to deliver the best product for the best value. That is our promise and we intend to keep it.

LEGACY THEATRE
Stony Creek, Branford, CT
A Historic Transformation. We are proud to announce the successful completion of The Legacy Theatre in Stony Creek, Branford, CT. The former puppet house has undergone a complete interior and exterior restoration. It has morphed into a striking, state-of-the-art theatre, home to what promises to be one of the premier performance venues in CT. It is chock full of unique features, including:
 
  • Carefully engineered underpinning and water mediation to support and preserve the structure.
  • Custom millwork, consisting of an intricate maple slat ceiling system with acoustical insulation for optimum sound absorption.
  • State-of-the-art ventilation, UV lighting and fresh air exchanges throughout.
  • Cutting edge theatre equipment, including high-tech stage lighting and sound technology.
  • 40+ miles of electrical cables and wiring hidden behind the walls. 
  • Incorporation of Stony Creek granite in the courtyard (also used for the Statue of Liberty!)
  • and so much more……….
Broadway-quality feel in an intimate setting! Wireless microphones and a digital mixing console with scene-by-scene programming. HD quality video playback paired with a 7,000 lumen 4k Laser Video Projector, providing directors and designers with the essential tools to effortlessly create virtual scenery and effects. The speaker system includes associated digital signal processing and amplification to deliver high fidelity and consistent level coverage to every seat in the house.
