Celebrate Differently This Year!
There is NO Thanksgiving Parade this year because of concerns that it would become a super spreader event. The person you are most likely to catch COVID from, is a member of your own family. Protect your family and the people you love by being safe and celebrating differently this year.

Pilot Program on Quitman
Houston Public Works (HPW) has removed threes traffic signals on Quitman and replaced them with stop signs, which they believe will make the intersections safer and operate better.

The pilot project is expected to last approximately 3 months. At that time, HPW will assess community feedback and traffic data to make a final determination. If at any point during the pilot, there is a problem with safety or traffic operations, HPD may revert back to traffic signal operations immediately.

Read about the pilot program here.
