Conference Lecturer Requests Your Responses
We are excited to have Dan Ariely (Dan Ariely) confirmed as one of our 2021 Virtual Conference Keynote Lecturers! Dan has a special request for our members -- please read his email below and be sure to send your responses to office@isqols.org by April 2nd.

Dear members of the International Society for Quality of Life Studies,
My name is Dan Ariely and I am a professor of Psychology and Behavioral Economics at Duke. I recently learned about your society and I also agreed to give the keynote at your conference in August. I am looking forward to learning more and to virtually meet you in August.
As a starting point for preparing my talk, I would like to ask you for a favor. Actually two favors and if possible I would love for you to do these two favors for me in the next week.
1) The first favor is for each of you to give me the best advice that you can give someone who is looking to improve the quality of their life.
2) The second favor, is also to give me the best advice that you can give someone who is looking to improve the quality of their life — but this time have it based on a particular academic paper — please send the paper along with the recommendation.
Please email your responses to these 2 questions (or whichever you can respond to) to Jill Johnson at office@isqols.org in order to compile the materials.
Many thanks and I am looking forward to seeing all of you at the conference.
Irrationally yours,
Dan
