Start a conversation about equity!
Today’s topic for discussion is intersectionality. Discuss with your kids: What is it, and how can it impact children at our school and in our community? Resources:

Multicultural cookbook
We’re still accepting recipes! The cookbook is coming together, and it’s been wonderful to see/read all the diverse stories. As of March 1, we had 23 recipes with 19 cultures represented! We’re hoping for even more from Adams families, teachers, and staff. Please use this platform to celebrate all the many cultures that make up our community. Forms and more information here.
Fundraising news
Bartell "B" caring card
At Bartell's, 4% of all qualified sales will be donated to the Adams PTA once you sign up online or in-store at the register. Learn more about the program here.

Volunteer needs
Become the new PTA secretary!
Are you interested in being a part of the Adams PTA Board? Are you detail-oriented and love taking notes? Do you want to participate in helping to make Adams the wonderful place it is -- by working with the staff and other parents to implement plans and policies that will best support our school community? The Adams PTA is looking for a secretary to begin in 2021 for a two-year term. If you are considering this position, all questions are very welcome! For a more detailed job description, or to chat with the present secretary to learn more, please email Heidi or Julie. 

5th grade yearbook
We need your help making memories for our kids! Parent volunteers are needed for all aspects of production, on a schedule that can easily fit your own. For information, send us an email.
