According to a recent article in USA Today, “COVID-19 is no longer an excuse to stay inside: Here's what to know about outdoor safety”, the coming warmer weather will offer both vaccinated and non-vaccinated people more opportunities for low-risk outdoor activities, and that participating in these activities can improve both their physical and mental health. The article states that being outdoors is both safe and extremely important, and we at Cornelius PARC couldn’t agree more! We have kept our parks, greenways, courts, and fields open for public use throughout this past, difficult year and we continue to encourage you to head outside, breathe fresh air, get some exercise, and enjoy our facilities! Please remember to stay vigilant, avoiding tightly packed crowds or spending long periods of time with people outside of your normal circle, and continue to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.

We have seen unprecedented demand for our 2021 Summer Camps, while at the same time having to limit our capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions. We continue to hope that we can add some additional spaces and/or camps, so please join the waiting lists. We'll get you in if we can!
|
Please vote for us! We are honored to be nominated for "Best Summer Camp" as part of Lake Norman Currents magazine's Best of the Lake Awards. We would be grateful for your vote (question #23)!
