Malcolm Gladwell's Revisionist History
A few months ago, Malcolm Gladwell visited Changing Homelessness to discuss Jacksonville's data-driven approach to housing those experiencing homelessness and our community's rejection of invisibility as a fundamental condition of homelessness for the season five finale of his podcast, Revisionist History, in a powerful episode titled "A Memorial for the Living."

Listen to the powerful season five finale here.
Racial Inequity Within Homelessness
Dr. Tammy Hodo with All Things Diverse, LLC has facilitated two sessions with our staff and the Changing Homelessness Board of Directors on implicit bias and microaggressions, both of which are a part of the longstanding history of racial inequity in homelessness and housing.

We know we cannot achieve our vision of ending homelessness if we do not confront the racial disparities that exist within the system, and continue to stand firm in our commitment to realizing a healthy and housed Jacksonville where everyone thrives.
#COVIDCalls
Dawn Gilman, CEO of Changing Homelessness, recently joined Scott Gabriel Knowles for an episode of #COVIDCalls, a daily podcast about the COVID-19 pandemic, to discuss our community's approach to navigating the effects of the virus on the homeless population and the services we provide.
