Nominate your course for the 2020 Wall of COOL award. This competitive award from eLearning recognizes excellent courses that effectively use technology to enhance student learning and success. Any faculty member or faculty team teaching online, hybrid, or technology-enhanced F2F are eligible. Nominations are due Sept 20, 2019.

Join the book discussion group at Innovation Brew Works for Jennifer L. Eberhardt's "Biased: Uncovering the Hidden Prejudice that Shapes What We See, Think, and Do." The Faculty Center will provide the book. Please plan to attend at least three of the sessions and stay the full time to ensure meaningful discussions. Participation is limited to 9 people.

This 2-day intensive experience takes users from Blackboard novices to experts. Topics covered range from a basic introduction all the way to using some of the most advanced features. This interactive, hands-on workshop will significantly increase your efficiency and effectiveness to support your students' success.

Bo Choi Joins UCI's Division of Teaching Excellence and Innovation
|
Bo Choi is a proud Cal Poly Pomona graduate alumna who worked with eLearning for many years, serving as a student assistant at first and then becoming an experienced and creative instructional designer. She recently accepted a wonderful opportunity at UC Irvine, serving faculty as an instructional designer. While eLearning will miss working with our colleague, we congratulate Bo as she moves into her new role.

Adobe Connect and Presenter are being retired at CPP due to compatibility issues with PowerPoint. Use
Zoom
for web conferences and
PowerPoint’s built-in recording feature
for content authoring. If you plan to reuse existing Adobe Connect meeting recordings or Adobe Presenter presentations, they must be moved to other platforms before

Lynda.com, Now LinkedIn Learning
|
Lynda.com was purchased by LinkedIn and is now LinkedIn Learning. Our campus upgraded to LinkedIn Learning over the summer. All students, faculty, and staff have access to LinkedIn Learning through MyCPP. New and improved features include an easy-to-use interface for searching for and accessing relevant content, personalized content, and course recommendations.
