An update from the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation
EESF New Strategic Plan
EESF approved its new strategic plan at its June Board meeting.

In the plan, EESF articulates its new vision: "A World Free of Elevator and Escalator Accidents." It's mission? "To promote public safety and prevent accidents by educating the public on the proper use of elevators and escalators."

The new plan will guide EESF's activities for the next three years. Read the entire plan here. EESF Chair Mullins Named to Federal Advisory Committee
EESF Chairman, Mark S. Mullins, National Coordinator, Elevator Industry Work Preservation Fund has been named to the U.S. Department of Labor's Advisory Committee on Construction Safety and Health. He will serve on the committee for the next two years.

Established under the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act and the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act of 1970, ACCSH advise s the Secretary of Labor and Assistant Secretary of Labor for occupational safety and health on construction standards and policy matters.
