Livestock & Poultry Producers Impacted by Fires: Survey
We need your assistance to better understand the economic impact of fire events in livestock production in California. Our team of faculty and researchers would like to model the economic impact of fire in livestock production in California.
We hope to be able to demonstrate to livestock producers the threat and severity of economic loss that fire poses to their operation. Additionally, we hope to identify potential actions that ranchers can take to reduce or mitigate their losses due to wildfires.
We are interested in conducting a risk assessment to gather information about the properties in California, that have
experienced wildfires within the last 10 years. This survey will provide critical information that can be incorporated into guidelines aimed toward proving the foundations for future fire economic assessments and management decisions.
Your participation is essential to helping us in this risk assessment.
The survey will take about 15-30 minutes of your time, depending on the number of your properties that have been affected by wildfire.
